The PG57 is a versatile microphone for use with amplified or acoustic instruments. It has a tailored frequency response that is smooth and extended. The mics cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides. This pattern makes the mic less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings. The PG57 is baxedaround a dynamic cartridge with a simple, rugged coil. It handles extreme volume levels without distortion.
