The Shure SLX-D-24+/B58 pairs a legendary Beta® 58A supercardioid dynamic microphone with state-of-the-art 24-bit digital wireless architecture. Designed for venues, touring acts, and studio applications where RF stability and audio fidelity matter, the system combines Shure's decades of microphone engineering with modern digital encoding. At its core sits a 138 MHz tuning range, enabling up to 14 simultaneous systems across 8 MHz TV bands–essential for multi-act events or broadcast environments where frequency coordination is critical.

The receiver and handheld transmitter communicate via automatic setup, maintaining lock despite RF interference typical of live venues. The SLXD4+ receiver embeds patented Digital Feedback Reducer software, automatically suppressing feedback if it occurs, whilst AES-256 encryption secures all transmission. Battery life reaches 8 hours on two supplied AA cells, or opt for optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeables. ShowLink® Ease permits over-the-air parameter adjustment–frequency switching, power output, transmitter lock, and firmware updates–from the linked receiver or Wireless Workbench desktop and mobile apps over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The included rackmount kit and carrying pouch enable rapid deployment.

The Beta® 58A capsule delivers the presence peak and proximity bass characteristic that defined live vocal miking; its supercardioid pattern (narrower than cardioid) rejects stage spill and floor monitor feedback at source. The system ships complete: receiver, handheld transmitter, two quarter-wave antennas, clip, batteries, power supply, and rackmount hardware–everything needed for immediate operation.
